Gday Guys,

I have just put a set of 31s onto my (apparently stock) hardtop sierra.

With the factory tyres on the speedo was out by 10km/h at 100ks (read 110)

Now with the 31s on it has corrected my speedo, does this mean that at some point TC gears have been done?
I cant think of any other explanation.

If any one has any ideas that would be great

No, that's completely normal. Sierra speedos are pretty optimistic. Transfer gears wont change your speedo reading anyway.

It is possible you have lower diff gears, which would correct your speedo.

Mine has new 31's on and my speedo reads 100 then I do 103 on the GPS and mine is definitely stock gearing (Suzuki SJ413) Same as a Sierra 1.3.

Just for reference.

Kind regards
