anyone done it? have to replace the wiring loom in mine, does the steering column have "snap head torque" bolts? not looking forward to it. cheers joel |

yeah most modern cars have them. get a dremel with a cut off wheel & slot them for a flat blade screw driver. |

I've always used a hammer and small cold chisel to get them out and then hacksaw slot to do them back up. |

ripper jas. ive got wednesday off work to do it now. how much of an ass ache is it? i dislike interior electrical work hahah removing the interior carpet while im there. |

fark me, what a day, seats out, center consoles out, carpet out, rip dash out. 6/10 ass ache, unplug wiring harness, plug in new harness, unplug rear harness, plug in new harness, dash back in ass ache 9/10. yay everything works, ass ache of indicators still coming on like hazards. rip out indicators, re wire, new earth yay now i can drive like a human again. |
