I can't speak specifically for access considerations in relation to the Jimny, but there's three bolts holding the box to the rail, one bolt to remove to free the steering shaft from the input side of the box, and you'll need a pitman arm puller or tie rod end splitter to remove the pitman arm or drag link, depending on what the new box comes with.

It's not a technically difficult job, and other than the puller/splitter it doesn't require any special tools. As per normal though, access is what makes or breaks the job.

i cant confirm, bu always thought the jimny nonPS box and PS box were the same, just where the hoses went on were blanked off with bolts. they even run the same PS fluid to fill them.
youll need the pump, belt and hoses if its the case

Didn't get the impression the OP was asking how to convert? Could be wrong though. I'm sure the box is externally very similar.

Different box, you'd need power steering pump, reservoir, and lines. Depending on how long the non power steering box is you might need to modify the steering shaft by shortening it like you do for a sierra.
