Hi guys,

I currently have a 2006 GV 2 litre manual with a ODA/Dobinsons 2" coil and strut lift kit. The lift kit has around 50,000km on it.

It's been pretty clunky from both ends from day one and it's getting worse I think. Already been through a set of lower control arm bushes. Ride seems to have stiffened up and it's a real pain driving along the crap roads up here in the bowen basin. Everything is rattling itself to bits. It's like the high speed valving in the shocks is stuffed. Anything short of a billiard table smooth road is extremely loud and uncomfortable. In short I have had enough and am either going to trade it or change out the lift kit.

My questions are:

1. Who has the ome kit? What is the ride quality like? I'm after something a lot more compliant and quieter.
2. Would it be worth trading in for a 3.2 v6 model and putting a kit in it and transferring my bash plates and spotties over? Could always do with more power and less nvh with a newer model, or
3. Will the ride always be fidgety in a vehicle like this, i.e. short wheelbase and lowish weight combined with lift kit which are usually a tad more heavy duty than oem suspension?

Thanks!
