Hey guys tried searching but couldn't find much info on which oil to use in my 97 vitara jlx 1.6. I checked the manual and it says 5w 30/10w 30/10w 40 for the temperature I live in. Any of these viscosities have any advantages or disadvantages over each other in the g16b and which brand oil is best? Cheers. |

10W40, 15W40 or 15W50 for Australia. If you Google Castrol or Penrite NetLube and enter your model you shouldn't go wrong. I ran Penrite HPR10 or HPR15 in my Sierras and Vitaras for a couple of years but now buy Delo Gold in 20L drums as I couldn't justify $50 every oil change. |
