Does anyone know if I can get the Bearing Highlighted in Australia ?

According to the main dealer I have to buy the entire Spindle just to get the dang bearing...

Anyone able to assist ?

Your main dealer is an idiot - the new spindle doesn't come with the bearing - you have the part number there - trying ordering it from www.suzukicarparts.com (in the US) - shipping shouldn't be that much.

Thinking back - I seem to recall you saying you needed to change the spindles.

Err the market listing for that diagram is not the e24 australian market .so the dealer could be correct. Our market shows it as a bush which does come as part of the spindle.

Interesting observation there - I know some vehicles use a bush, some use a bearing - my recollection is the parts catalogue shows both as separately available, although I may be thinking GV and not XL-7 - unfortunately, I'm out of office so I can't check my parts catalogue (which is the global one).

Surely Magnat should know, since he has his XL-7 apart, if it takes a bush or a bearing.

I don't see me as buying that spindle to get the bushing, I'd probably have a machine shop turn it up locally - and thinking about it a little more - what were Suzuki thinking using a bush there, on a vehicle where the axles are constantly turning...
