hey guys

so just the other night I performed RUF drilling the perch 20mm back and using my already existing extended shackles! The rear springs in the front are made up of 4 springs the 3 main original ones and then the 3rd main one out the front pack that was taken out. I also only have 4 springs in the back with the longest load spring taken out. Doing the RUF made my shackle angle a lot better but when i tried to flex it out it made no difference to its original flex.

I am also sourcing some mazda 323 spring for the Rear to give my rear shackles a better angle and have a longer spring. This has all been done to a 1985 NT long wheel base ute. Bear in mind it dose already have longer commy shocks installed, i will be taking them out and flexing it with a mates forklift tomorrow or today to see if that is the issue but i don't believe it is. Any ideas as to what it could be?

From the floor to the underside of the tire (front left) when i flexxed it was only sitting about 400mm up, which compared to photos i have seen with RUF seems very minimal.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Bibby

Are you compressing the other side? Maybe the springs are a bit stiff? Getting the high side to compress is the key, not the drooped side to hang lower.

Also, have a try with your shocks undone at one end in case they are the cause of your issue.

maybe i should take out the 4th spring in the front pack as the bottom 2 are lift springs.

but yes i will make sure that the shocks are not the issue
