Some one have the time to measure the width of their radiator?

Bought 2 that should fit, they are both miles to wide.....

Wonder how I managed to score a narrow one..

From memory the one you want is around 540mm. If you look on ebay do not buy a "heavy duty" unit, no idea what they fit but it's not a SQ625.

Ok men, ladies, noobs, and ATARI....(thanks for all your search and help stuff Gus... Your still make AZ worth while)

AFTER THINKING OF SHEPPING THE SHIT BOX...AND TWO CALLS AND ONE VISIT TO SUZUKI ..

There are two radiators that will fit the Grand vitara,

Depending on motor, gearbox, aircon combo...also depending on how far through the series they were...

98-02 aircon, v6, either box with 2lt 4cyl or 2.5 v6 in both LWB and SWB,

Radiator must be the
525wide, 425high, 28thick.
(Same radiator as the sq420 also same radiator between 2 and 4door)

01 -03 depending on we're they were destined to be registered/ sold

LWB WAS INLY ONE LISTED..

Either as above
Or
595 wide, 425 high, 26 thick are the only two possible dimensions..
SWB is the 525,425,28

After mid to late 02 to end of run only the 595,425,26 will fit , Again LWB was only one listed.

eBay does sell both these radiator in a 3 core version which is 50mm thick but it means removal of clutch fan and shroud..

All the new replacement radiators will come with nuts to bolt shroud to....best fitting nut is. M6 in 25mm

The XL7s seem to as much of a mismatch,, couldn't be arsed looking at all the info on them as it doesn't apply..

In SA Sprint Autos were the best price and quality PROTEX $216.20

There was one cheaper OPTION but it looked like a rough job..$156.00

Hope this helps someone in the future!
