Coily with a standard G13BA, fuel is draining back overnight making it a nightmare to start in the mornings. I have a fuel filter just before the carbie that is dry in the morning and there appears no fuel in the carbie as I took the airfilter hat off and worked the throttle a couple of times and no fuel squirted into the carb. If I drop a bit down the throat she fires up fine and runs, sometimes might have to do this twice. I have checked all the fuel lines and cant see any leaks. Pump is about 6 months old appreciate any advice |

Fuel cannot "drain back" from the carburetor float bowl - it can however, leak out - if the coily uses an aisin carb, there will be two brass plugs at the side of the bowl, make sure they are sealing properly (you remove them to reach the main jets). |

Cheers I know the plugs your talking about and have checked the carbie for leaks already for about 30 mins after the vehicle is stopped. I think I will get a kit and put it through the carbie. |
