Ive read some info on mixing springs for a jimny lift but wondering if the following is possible.

Apparently
Swapping front jimny springs into the rear give 50mm ish lift
Overseas ive read of guys using xl7 rears for the front to give a 75mm lift. Iam assuming a normal gv will have a softer spring than the xl7.

So by combining the 2 im hoping for a 50mm ish lift accross the board ?

Sound feasable ? Anything has to be better than stock

one of the guys on facebook just did this, used fronts in rear & vitara in the front, gave closer to 3" looking at his pictures. he described the ride as being pretty bouncy, well posted a picture of a woman with her boobs bouncing so we'd get the gist haha.

I have stock fronts on the rear and +2" OME hd on the front plus OME shocks all around. Spectacular ride. Maybe a bit too soft for hard off roading, but it's a delight to daily drive and small stuff. If you suffer from back problems, this setup is the best IMHO. It's less bouncy than stock form, much improved. The body roll increased a bit, but I feel it drives better cause tires never leave the ground (either when cornering fast or going through uneven tarmac suddenly or offroading slowly).

Softer the springs the better. If its to bouncy he needs stiffer shocks

Baaad english, sorry. But what I meant is on stock form it "jumps" more (cabrito). Now the rear is much smooter, even my dogs like it better 8-P

Will try to upload a picture, but is almost levelled with the rear slightly higher. I think OME rear springs are stiffer than front stocks. One day my "two people mini trophy truck" (as I see it) was loaded with five people and rears started to bottom out on major bumps. However, as I said, for daily and small stuff lightly loaded it's unbeateable for my liking. Only way I've found to transform the ride of a twin solid axle with extreme short wheel base, narrow and tall.
