Just a stupid question, but I can't seem to figure it out. See in this photo here, the fuel tank is behind the diff, and the muffler in front, so where would the spare go? Obviously there's no swing out tailgate if on a trayback, so just wondering where one might put a spare.

Under the tray.

You can just see it here.

However, I also seem to recall seeing them standing up attached to the tray headboard.

I thought it would have gone below the tray, like other utes, but I can't seem to fathom where it could fit if the tank is behind the diff?

Steve's post includes a spec sheet, the spec sheet includes three pictures, two of which show the vehicle from the rear and the spare tire is visible in both.

Yup in the marutis ive had theres normally a bar over the fuel tank and the spare slides in and out on that. Unless you lift the tray there is only room for factory width spare though its a little tight
