Hi, i was doing my front wheel beaings but lost the locking washer that goes between the wheel bearing and the 2 big nuts that lock together.. A) do i need it to stop the nuts being too tight on the wheel bearing and if so..b) does anyone know where i can find one.

I wouldn't leave the lock washer off.. The torque settings aren't tight, if you over tighten them they will overheat and wear quickly!
Try Covs, they have them sold separately for Landcruisers but would likely have to order them in for zooks

How soon do you need one? I have a few in my box of bits. I can post it up of you pay for postage. Express would be best, regular mail here sucks arse, and can take ages.

Oh hang on. Are you taking about the lock tabs which goes between the two wheel bearing nuts or the thrust washer that goes between the inner nut and the outer bearing?

You can't maintain bearing preload without it.

Thrust washer.. Different from the lock tab washer but still essential.. Either jdk81 has a pair or hit up Wreckers, eBay, Suzistore
