will a non vvt m15a bolt straight m13a 2003 non vvt jimny auto gearbox, or will i need a manual gearbox, i'm considering the conversion, whats involved for the auto gearbox?

Bolt it in, use the jimny ECU and all accessories.

Make sure you're running an upgraded trans cooler and trans temp gauge.
