I have a 88 zooki with stock motor in it, i have read about the starter motor will fit, I have soured an 12 month old sine new start motor after a friend decided to crash his mirage, I can see how it will fit etc however can some one who actually done it tell me if its as easy as i think, it looks like i will need to grind down the end that goes into the bell housing end and drill out the bolts is that all i need to do??? |

If the black housing looks the same, it can probably be used. The alloy mount bolt pattern will probably be different. The holes will be threaded. The solenoid has a different bolt pattern too. The rest is the same as sierra. Black housing, shaft, gear, brush holder/springs and brushes, end cap, bolts I have a Mirage shaft in my sierra. The standard 1.3 sierra starter that i had was made by Mitsubishi, So i thought why not go to the actual brand car! Less mud. Cheaper parts |

The solenoid was screwed in mine I opened it up was full of mud.. That would do it however the solenoid was the same in the new one so just put it on and happy days. Thanks for responding |
