Hi guys I bought a soft top with a baleno 1.6L conversion already done and was wondering how can I hook it up so that the check engine light in the dash lights up ? What wires need to go where ? I've got a diagram for the ecu but where's needs to be soldered etc on the dash ? Any help is much appreciated.

Question 2 is has anyone ever wired in an obd2 plug into a g16b converted sierra ?

Not sure if this is what your after. Relivant wire from ECU (baleno one I assume) to original meter pin 5. I hope this is correct for your clocks/meter.

Not sure about a obd port but u can jump some wires in the baleno fuse box to get the engine light to flash codes. Does yours still have the square fuse n relay box?
Google or search on here for jrzooks baleno to sierra wiring diagrams to show what wires for the engine light and just hook it up to a redundant light/symbol in your dash. I used the triangle.
