Been looking round a bit and have a question that's probably been asked hundreds of times.
Will a bull bar off a gv fit a 96 lwb v6 vitara (if so what model gv) and what other options are there for winch bars (don't really want alloy)
I've asked at both Arb and ironman (only stores close to me) and they both said they have listings for gv's but have no listings for my model vitara

Short answer, no. The chassis is completely different.
The chassis is also completely different between the Carby and EFI vitaras and between the 2.0 litre vitaras and the 1.6 vitaras, so that's 3 fundamentally different chassis configurations for the vitara alone. The relatively short run of the widetrack Vitara (the V6 LWB and J20 SWB) and low interest in a winch bar will mean there's little out there.

Best bet is to purchase a quality bar like ARB and then have the mounts professionally modified.
