Yep I’ve got one.
Easy to install, the only real tricky bit is adapting the carby hat to suit the Weber. There may already be an adapted hat with it in which case no problem.
Yes they are an improvement over stock however they have limitations too. I found a little more power with the Weber, also I find them easier to work on. I drowned it once and was able to disassemble the whole thing, clean it out and reassemble without any problems.
Problems with them are over fueling on steep inclines. FAJS are supposed to be better than original Weber’s in this regard but they still do it.
Choke systems on them are very rudimentary. While thy are fine for most purposes I don’t like the choke systems much. However, given that stock carbs are usually crapped out and the choke doesn’t work well they are an improvement on this in most cases.
For $150 if your stock carby is go in you the shits then sure, it’s probably worth it.
