Hi thinking of buying this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SNORKEL-KIT- ... ect=mobile And I'm wondering is there supposed to be a pipe/hose that runs along the inside of the guard in the kit or is it already on the car or do I need to buy it seperately? Thanks in advance |

Yes, there is supposed to be a pipe/hose inside the guard - no it does not come with the kit, no it's not already on the car, you'll need to source/fab it yourself. Be warned, that auction is misleading - that snorkel does not fit the Sidekick, Tracker, or anything else that Suzuki put a G16 engine into - those, as far as I know, all require the snorkel to fit on the left hand side. What you're buying is a "mirror image" copy of a snorkel for an SE series vehicle, the SE series snorkel connects directly into the airbox with no additional plumbing, which is why none is supplied with the kit. You should be able to get a snorkel designed for the SV series from Airflow. or, if you're intent on taking the lower cost road, this one should fit the contours of the body reasonably well, but, you're going to have to fab up your own duct work - it's not difficult - a couple of silicone elbows, some rigid tube and a handful of large stainless steel hose clamps, and you'll be good to go. |
