Hey all just wondering if anyone can tell me how strong the steel bar behind the front bumper is as I got given a home made bull bar that's not from a vitara (bolts on over the bumper) and trying to find a way to put it on |

Nope. That will do more damage to your car in the event of a front impact than having no bar at all, or will need to much rework to the mounts you might as well start from scratch. Steve. |

An option would be to cut the bends out of it and use them as the basis for a new bar, but from experience bulbars require quite a lot of fabrication ability to get right and are very time consuming to build well. |

Did some very rough measuring on my cousins 04 hilux and found out the bull bar is almost the correct width so might try one of those if I can find one cos starting from scratch by myself is a bit too much |

Looks good but most likely out of my price range, has no protection for the upper body and its from Taiwan |
