Iv got an 06 model v6 2.7L 5 door gv that I picked up a few months ago and want to start modifying! I’m after a dobinson 2” lift for it and I’m wondering what prices others have paid for there’s? And is there anyone on hear still that can do kits for a decent price posted?

Also after some muddies but not sure with this model how big I can go with a lift, what are others running on there’s befor scrubbing starts to become to much of an issue?

Cheers scott

245/75r16 (30.7") will fit a stock car, even with 2" lift you are governed by the physical size of the wheel arch so thats pretty much the limit.
Im assuming your talking about the newer shape 06+ not the jellybean shape model before.

Tipping with the H27A & 2006 it will be a JB IFS / IRS GV & not the 1998-2005 version.

2" of lift is about 1" too much. Any lift in this IFS / IRS decreases down travel & then they crash over speed bumps - easy to turn a nice riding SUV in to a harsh shopping trolly.
The rear bush on the front control arm is also in a vertical plane & tears - even more quickly with a big lift on board - Suzuki don't sell the bush separately, only the whole control arm at $380ish each side.

Early cars had 16" rims, 17"s are quite common & some have 18"s.
Like MrRocky said, stick to a max. 31" diameter tyre in whatever rim size you have & be done with it.

'06 won't have traction control - lack of wheel travel can see an embarrassing lack of forward motion at a much lower threshold than you would expect.
The front struts are probably due for replacement at 11 years old as well - total of a set of springs & shocks/struts works out to about $1250 using a Kings / OME combination, + installation (need a strut compressor).
