Hello, I’m a new user. I have a 1982 Australian delivered Suzuki Sierra hardtop with the 1.0 F10A and 4 speed. I’ve been restoring it for the past year and started the engine for the first time in 12 months. It fired briefly but the carburettor begins to fail and sprays fuel everywhere. What would my best option be?
-Fully overhaul the existing carburettor and replace every gasket and small part, or whatever part is faulty -Find a brand new carburettor ($150?) -Go with a different/better/bigger carburettor setup?
I fitted a cheap new ebay carb recently, had to block off a return line on the carb but has worked fine for the last 12 months. I went with one out of mumbai india over a china made one.

Okay thanks for the help, I think I might just do the same, it’s around $150 for the ones from India and from what you’ve said they seem pretty reliable, and blocking the return line should be pretty easy,
