I wheel my GV reasonably hard, occasionally - I don't have sliders.
I could make sliders if I wanted, or thought I needed them.
My car is already too heavy without adding something of dubious benefit.
I've torn the plastic sill covers off 3 times, I've had to replace 1.
The replacement covered the dented sill nicely
While the slider might be no lower than the chassis (other than the mounting brackets), like GWagon says, it will hurt you clearance wise under the sill.
You can buy lots of plastic clips & the occasional plastic cover for the price of those sliders.
They look like a reasonable product for a reasonable price, but if you really, really need the protection rock sliders can provide, on a GV, you've got the wrong car, as you'll be in terrain that will destroy more than just the sills, or you need to learn to pick better lines.
