When the engine is cold it takes a long time motoring the engine before it starts. Intermittent when the engine is warm. Turning the ignition on you can here the fuel pump run for 2-3 secs and feel the pressure build up in the rubber supply hose. Have changed spark plugs and ignition coils and leads all parts from wrecker. Has iridium plugs. Have checked coil and lead resistances both sets. This is a 2nd hand engine from the wrecker with 5000km on the clock. My engine I drowned on a river crossing on the OTT. Original engine had no issues. Have checked the TPS resistance figures and only note that the low resistance figure of 20ohms was not available but was linear. Old TPS had similar figures. Removed ICV and butterfly does its initial open ops when ignition turned ON, but doesn't fully close. Should it fully close?
MAP had different Part Number and resistance value to original so swapped. The air inlet sensor I can not find any values to check it. My sensor is in the ducting not on the air filter box. I sprayed it with electrical cleaner. Had the fuel injectors cleaned and flow tested when I changed the engine.
