So, I’m new to the world of Grand Vitaras, I’ve picked up a late 2006 3rd Gen GV Prestige, and the factory subwoofer sounds like it is full of ball bearings, and the 6 disk stacker has basically exploded inside - radio is fine though. Does anybody have any recommendations for an aftermarket sub to replace the factory 3 1/2 inch active woofer unit?? Also, I’m upgrading the head unit to a factory 4th Gen touch screen unit. Are there any foreseeable or even unforseeable issues that I might have??

nah - as long as it's an iso plug no worries -

i'm pulling my single disk in-dash unit out for likely an 8" joying double-din android unit so I can run oziexplorer maps etc and apps
Ebay has double-din surrounds you bolt in place of the old facia
