Hey there, okay I know this has been done and if anyone can point me to a page or place or mecca that has the info please do. I want to know what size muddies to run, I have a 2000 jimny, 3 inch flexy lift, I believe 3-4 inch shocks and extended everything. I have a set of 15x7 steelies with road tyres on at the moment. Im mainly going to be beach driving (DI and all the islands around sunny coast) so it need to be able to deflate into a nice wide print and also up into glass house mountains for some muddy goodness. Im looking for any and all experience/advice. Where to buy them cheap ect.. Huge thanks in advance Happy zookin[emoji1419] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There’s a few points and assumptions in your post that are unclear/unspecified that make a HUGE difference to the answer. Spring lift doesn’t fit bigger tyres There’s no such thing as a 3-4” shock. Extended “everything” doesn’t mean anything, you have to be specific. Have the bumpstops been extended? For a radial tyre, the footprint basically doesn’t get wider when the tyre is deflated A wide tyre (in a low powered vehicle) isn’t an advantage in sand What tyre size is on the car now and what’s wrong with them? Has the car had its gearing corrected for whatever tyre was on those 7” rims? Do you want the car to be legal? |

You would want gearing for that size though or have it as a pig onroad and use low range on the beach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
