Hi all, need some assitance in finding replacement rear inner cv heads (or full axles) or someone that can refurbish the existing shafts. The right rear inner head has a 6 bolt pattern.

Suzuki is asking between $1800 and $2200 for replacement shafts and at last count a 6 week delivery time.

22 000km on car, did a trip to Fraser last year, got stuck in the sand a few times, on the way home the right rear inner cv completely disintegrated. The big clamp had dislodged and water/ sand had enterd the joint. I tried a warrenty claim as I reckoned that the clamp shouldnt just slip off. The boot had no marks on it, but suzuki declined the claim. I bought a second hand shaft as I refuse to pay $2200+ for a new shaft.

two weeks ago we went to fraser again, got mildly stuck, after a brief tow we where free when i heard a metal rattle at the back, I checked under the car and the left inner cv joint clamp was hanging around the axle and the boot had pulled away allowing sand to ingress the cv. I have partiaily salvaged the cv as I need the car.
