Hi All, Where do you find recond or new F10A 1 litre engines and who is recommended to fit them in my 93 Stockman. I am in Brisbane. Does anyone do a turbo upgrade? Appreciate any insights. thanks Berg. |

You can buy new ones out of china. Look on Alibaba. In China the often call it the 465q engine. In any case, any competent mechanic could rebuild one. It doesn't get much simpler. No one that I know of sells turbo kits for them these days. A number of mobs did in the past and lots of people have turbo'd them with good results. |

So the Chinese made engines are OK, quality wise? and there are plenty of suppliers on Alibaba, so any 465q engine will fit? |

I'd be more inclined to get as complete an engine as possible, as there is no guarantee at all (in fact not even a suggestion) that Suzuki F10A parts will bolt straight on. I know that with the Honda copy stationary engines that a lot of genuine parts will NOT fit the Chinese copies, but parts from the copies can fit a genuine Honda. |
