So I have a 1983 lwb Sierra and it appears to have a body lift installed. Personally I'm not a fan of body lifts and I'd rather it didn't have one but I imagine it's difficult to remove. My question is how hard is it and would it be worth it. If it's relevant it has 29' tyres on it at the moment and I don't intend to go any larger I assume that they'll still fit without the lift. |

Yes they’ll sort of fit. Whether it’s easily reversible depends on how it was done. If the studs were cut it won’t be easy. |

What do you even do if the studs were cut? I hope this wasn't the case with yours, WoolMinotaur. |

If the studs were cut the solution might be difficult or really difficult depending on how far down the stud they were cut. It might require making a new "body lift" that has no lift in it, so a machining job. |
