Looking at buying a used 2011 desiel grand vitara with 80,000km on it and has had the timing belt major service done plus full service history. Wondering if this will be a good car? I have read the earlier models had issues.
What's a common issue and will I get a solid amount of kms out of this car?
Driving is for touring and beach work plus a daily driver.

It's good that the timing belt has been done. Rear main seal commonly seep in these, mine has been seeping since I've had it even though the dealer I got it from reckons they replaced it after I took it back to them. I have a 2010, got it with 40,000kms and it's just on 138,000kms so nearly put on 100,000kms and in that time trouble free apart from my dpf crapped itself last new years eve. I do alot of towing and highway km's so the dpf would always get a clean out, So once that happened I had always said I'd delete it if I had issues with it. So for less than the price of dpf replacement I got it deleted and remapped and it is a totally different car.
