Hi all. I recently purchased a 1999 Jimny. Great little car but 1 problem. The central locking locks the door seconds after closing the door. RAC already been called out to retrieve the keys  Question is, is there anyway to disable the central locking or am I going to have to tape a spare key somewhere secret? Cheers Gripper |

I will take a bet with you - your "new-to-you" Jimny is fitted with an aftermarket alarm system - and that is what is locking the doors. |

I think you are right Fordem. Had a closer look today and it looks to be an aftermarket system. That will be getting ripped out quick. Cheers |
