Hi

Ive just got a question about wheel sizes. Me and dad want to go a bit wider wheel and just want to find out how wide of a rim we could go.

Ive currently got 215/70/15 on my car and we wanna go somewhere closer to 235/70/15 or 245/70/15

Please note we're gonna be putting on a 2 inch suspension lift and 2 inch body lift.

Thanks

Tyre width will dictate rim width. 235’s are best on a 6” rim and 245’s on a 7” rim.

Are you sure the aspect ratios you’re looking at are 70? 75 is much more common.

215 75 is a better choice than 215 70.

235/75R15 seems to fit well on my Sierra narrow track

235 75 isn’t a legal size and will scrub at full lock/full flex. I would run it on a 6” 0 offset rim for a 1991 Sierra which will be wide track.

Factor in gearing correction.
