Does anyone do a bullbar and lift kit for a 98 model coily serria? I've been to the major 4x4 shops and no one does anything for them |

The ARB leaf bar fits fine. The different profile of the SJ80 facia means it has larger gaps between the bar and the body at the corners and the holes for the park light/indicator are redundant, but it’s still the best option. sJ80’s don’t respond to a “lift kit” due to their suspension design. |

Suspension lift doesn’t provide tyre clearance, it only changes the rest point of the suspension. When the car is in motion, the axles will still move through the same range of motion as before the lift was installed, so the tyres will still foul. A body lift kit, like those marketed here by coliso, will provide increased tyre clearance regardless of the suspension. As for increased tyre size, the largest legal size is 215 75 15 (28” tall) which will fit on the car with no lift or other modifications. It’s also the largest size you can run without too many negative effects to the gearing. Going above 28” will require gearing correction which for an SJ80 generally means fitting a gear drive transfer case as a minimum. |
