Congratulations on being selected for Auszookers Zook Owner of the Month!

How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2016?

Thanks guys :D And Rob in particular for the nomination. Feels funny to actually be picked for ZOOM haha

So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?

My Name is Joel Huleatt, My username is "JuniorJoel", not really sure why i picked it but I'm usually the youngest out of the people i drive with so it sort of works haha.

I live in Warriewood, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Lots of sun, beaches and pretty chilled place to live. I am a qualified Mechanic who is currenlty training to also get my Auto-Elec qualification just for fun.

How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?

My first Suzuki was actually a 2006 model JR 80. I used to race moto's as a kid so anything with a motor in it sort of always drew towards me.

My first car was my Jimny (Cecillea) and still remains my daily drive. It came about after a good friend of mine invited me to go to stockton beach with him and his dad for the weekend. A little green jimmy was his dads choice of car and after that weekend i was set on buying one. He jumped it, hammered it and it loved it :D .

I have also owned/own 2 suzuki carry's (One van, One ute) the Ute i still have and is my on-going side project. Basically a little slammed cruising machine haha

How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?

I bought Cecillea when i was 16 and have been building it ever since. But its latest re-carnation (33's, 6.5's, chromos, twin locked) probably has only taken about 6 months-1 year. It was sort of a crazy build that happened when everything aligned.

Any changes in store for your Suzuki?

Not really. I just want to try limit breakages, work on my front bumpstops and then set it up for some more camping style trips. It does pretty good for what it is off-road and to be honest I'm pretty stocked by it a lot of the time.

What has been your best modification?

A bit of everything. I love my gears but there pretty useless without my front and rear lockers as i can crawl so low i need the traction haha I think that everything has its place but if i had to pick one thing it would probably be my $5 little Japanese solar powered dude thingy that i bought at the airport when i was in japan. I recon he's good luck and I've been pretty lucky so far haha Armsup

What has been your worse modification?

80mm Tough Dog lift. I was young and naive haha

If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?

It's a mix of a few really.

Bluesuzy's rig- Fricken bad ass suzuki thats so clean and tidy.
31zook's- (Edna) Simple, Built for a purpose, Cool Fab work.
Ratty562- Another bad ass car, Cool Fab, Gets used!

There all very different cars but Im not a one car kind of person. They're all awesome to me and would be happy with any of them or if any of my builds end up as cool as them Armsup

What has been your best 4wding trip?

Probably this years Coffs trip. It was a funny/awsome trip, from being invited to come along after meeting Josh (31zook) buying parts. Driving 6 hours to meet people that id never met to go driving haha. It was an awesome trip not even just for the driving but for the people i got to meet.

Plus Cecillea drove there and back in one piece. (more than i can say for the watagans trip haha :D )

If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?

Id really like to hit up Victoria and go see all the mud/snow. Im really keen to try get there one year for a snow trip, and also cape york etc. I've always loved the idea of setting up a tourer and seeing Australia.

Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?

Probably 31zook, Jimmy_Timmy, Blkfxx, Ratty562, Rob45x, bogga and just everyone else that i get to drive with throughout the year haha

Tell us what the wheeling is like in your area?

If you don't mind a drive around 45mins there is heaps. Watagan's could keep you entertained for years, Stockton beach and Samurai will give you sand. Just depends if the cars still working haha

What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?

I spend most of my time working on cars. I work 6 days a week with cars and then the other nights/hours left I spend on other projects, motorbikes, cars and try to spend as much time as i can with friends having fun :)

Me and my girlfriend are actually finishing up building a 72 VW beetle at the moment.

looks better with all it's panels on haha

What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?

I just like seeing all the cool cars, reading the ZOOM's and the helpful tech. Its nice to see people be a bit innovative, and i really love getting jealous at some of the skills and fab work of people on this forum/that I've meet.

What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?

I like it how it is :)

Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?

MrRocky. Who doesn't love a cool LWB Armsup

On a side note, Merry christmas and a happy new year guys :peaceout:

I have to ask why?

Over priced, shocks way to hard, realistically needs aftermarket radius arms to correct your geometry. I think if your going to go for anything over 50mm your better of buying a more complete kit that at least try's to rectify any problems it creates.

Just personally I think I would have been better of buying a 40mm OME lift. You can fit 30's on a stock Jimny easy so no need for so much lift.
