How does it feel being honoured with the nomination for Z.O.O.M. 2017?
Surprised. There's plenty of other awsome builds on here that have been thought out a lot better than mine.
So tell us about yourself. Who are you, What's the meaning to your username, Where do you live, and what do you do for a living?
My names Daniel (mates call me Dan), my username was after my first zook a 2000 grand vitara. Live in Perth wa and am a 4th year apprentice carpenter
How did you get started in Suzuki's & how many have you owned?
Bought my first zook when I was on my L's to learn in and then the bug got me! Have had two registered to date and have another on the way.
How long did it take you to build your zook to what it is today?
Have only had this one for about 6months now. It came already highly modified (1.6 conversion, twin locked ect.)
Any changes in store for your Suzuki?
Would like a canvas canopy on the back for my tools, and a fresh respray to tidy it up
What has been your best modification?
Would have to be getting longer leafs made for the rear and the old rears up front. Has transformed the way the car handles and has made it a lot more comfortable
What has been your worst modification?
Would probably have to be the snorkel. Looks tacky imo
If you could have anybody else's zook, who's would it be and why?
Would have to be gwagensteves. The effort put into it is amazing
What has been your best 4wding trip?
The Christmas trip with Perth Suzuki offroad that has just gone. Down Pemberton ways, was definitely one to remember
If you could go to any place in the world to wheel, where would that be?
I reckon it would have to be the dunes in Dubai
Who are you closest to in the auszooker's community?
Mr rocky and wombat. Spend most of my time wheeling/breaking my car with them
What other toys/hobbies do you put a lot of time into?
Zooks are pretty much my full time hobby now. Used to be into Rc cars and spear fishing
What is it about the auszookers that brings you back for more?
The No bullshit info that you can always rely on. No keyboard warriors like on a lot of other forums/groups
What about the auszookers forum would you like to see changed?
As far as the forums go I can't fault it, but would be cool to have more 4wd meets.
Now for the million dollar question, who do you select to be the next Z.O.O.M. & why?
I nominate wombat. Defiantly one of the cooler lwb around Perth. She's not scared to point it up a lot of tracks others won't.
