Everyone else is doing it so i thought id tag along with the crowd.

Shes a 2000 suzuki hayabusa.

Custom paint
full exhaust
power commander
big bore 1299cc to 1398cc
high comp pistons
bigger cams
rebuilt head with titanium retainers HD valve springs etc
quick shifter
lowered suspension
polished rims

She makes about 4 times as much at the back wheel as my jimny does at the crank hahaha.

Future plans include new paint, bigger exhaust system and a baby shot of nitrous. Depends if i can hide it all from my missus.

DarkHorse, i do have a jimny so i have to make up power somewhere so it all balances out...... As far as being torn down there was a few of the valve stem seals leaking and smoking on start up. also when it was originally built the builder wasnt aware of the issue with big cams causing the valve springs to bind which was scoring the tappets. so i pulled it down and put new heavy duty valve springs new seals and low profile titanium spring retainers. the new retainers will stop the bind happening. I also installed a new radiator and a second radiator fan, new coolant piping, new rear brake rotor. Ill be putting new wheel bearings in soon and new front brake disks and braided brake lines all round. over all just freshening the old girl up a bit before i buy a second motor to do the big crank, bigbore silly motor and keep the bike on the road in its current trim until the second motor is ready.

Asps91, if i get the gopro i wanted ill get some vid of a run for you.

Been nearly 10years now I've been riding one hayabusa or another. No stacks so far. This is the 4th busa I have owned I love them. Bit of a shame suzuki didn't put as much work into the 1300 of the jimny as they did with the busas 1300.

I think you just volunteered to fit the busa motor to your jimny.

On my wish list is a Hayabusa powered Westfield.

If I had another motor and a lot of time and fabrication skills I'd try it. But I'm lacking all three lol.
