Still waiting for bits to turn up but hopefully the welding wog can start welding next week The plan is for a 6x4 box trailer with 500mm high sides. So far I have vitara rims with 700 x 15 tyres ![]() Also have the hitch ![]() Still waiting for 10" electric brake drums with parallel bearings to turn up and I think I will use a eBay trailer body Going to make the drawbar out of 75x50x1.6 and the chassis out of 40x40x1.6. Will use Aussie made 300kg eye eye springs. Hopefully it will be a strong but light Suzuki camper trailer. Any suggestions |

that looks alright & that's not a bad turn around time considering the distances. please tell me you've used your get out of jail free card on somehow getting permission to tow the camper trailer behind the boat trailer as a nitrous powered suzuki road train |

I have a bit of the rhs that Haymon reese use. Maybe it should go on the back of the trailer so I can stick the boat on behind the camper. |

probably not a bad idea, build the rear x-member as a towbar with receiver hitch. even if it's to use as a tow point if you get bogged & have to unhitch & tow it out backwards. *could also be used for road training |

Sounds like what I am aiming for as well. Only thing different is my water tank will be above the axle and spare tyre will be mounted ute style under the rear of the trailer. Where are the pics mate? |

Using 30x30x3 for the chassis and 50x75x3 for the drawbar ![]() Made a fairly long drawbar so it should behave nicely on dirt roads ![]() Running the drawbar back to the front spring hangers. ![]() Going to have another sickie tomorrow and annoy ball until he finishes off welding the chassis for me. |
