I'm wondering has anyone cut up a Sierra to make a camper trailer but keeping it light as possible
The mind wanders

Heaps of people have, but there are heavy.

Keep looking in this trailers and camping area, Zukenutter's trailer started like that and there's a few examples in the trailer mega merge thread.

The main issue with them, apart from the weight, is that the wheels tend to be too far back for a well balanced trailer, unless its quite short.

It doesn't feel too bad lifting from the drawbar feels like a reasonable balance. trying to keep light as possible
Pretty happy with progress what do you think would be an ideal trailer weight for behind a sierra(g16b)??

I'm looking at using a roof top tent on a 6x4 trailer, light and very easy to set up, and just have a basic water tank/pump set up, nice and easy
