Thanks to Pete_79 being generous with his plans I have made a little camper for us. Just big enough for two and has a Drifta pull out kitchen and storage box. It tows well on the sand and over dunes. It almost seems the zook can pull it better on the sand than the bitumen. We recently took her up onto fraser island and did we turn some heads!!!! Here is a link to some pictures untill I get time to post them properly. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10207599627171901.1073741835.1327352699&type=1&l=9f74f122fb |

Looks great mate. Glad you found the plans useful. I like the drifter kitchen, I was looking at one for my trailer for a while. I'll keep an eye out for you once we're back on the sunny coast at the end of the year.

Great pis on Facebook. Ive just started the trailer build from generous Pete79. I increased the length to 1580 x 1010, about a foot longer, to accommodate the 1500 mm queen wildcountry foam bedding. Im now a bit worried because I read that the joints should not be fully welded but only welded on the top and bottom and mine have lots of vertical welds. |
