diff ratios

just wondering if diff gears from another model zook will fit straight into my 97 vit diffs? i need to change the ratios to compensate for the larger tyres...

5.125 ring and pinion out of an earlier 1.6 litre vitara will do the trick. Or just swap the whole third member with gears already in it provided they are in good condition.
