My zook seats are old and getting like sitting on a rock. I've seen some threads on whats some guys have done. Just wondering on what trouble you had and whether its worth all the hassle and cost

There is a lot more info in another thread already than what you'll get by starting a new thread.

I put Autotecnica reclining bucket seats in mine...

Dead easy. The width is the same as the Sierra rails, just need to drill one new hole through each rail and bolt em straight up.

Couldn't really have been any easier.

Pics are in my rig thread in my sig.

i just fit some bucket seats in mine- should have waited for some autotechnica ones because the ones i got had rails too wide & they were a pain to fit. Had to use nutserts on the drivers side and weld up some stalks for the passenger side.

Ensure the seats you get have rails that are 385mm apart. Honda CRX seats bolt straight in (88ish model "delsol"). MK1 GTI seats are supposed to be a good fit too. MK2 and 3 are different.
