I have an LJ80 which requires a new engine. I have a Maruti bottom end . and would have been quite happy with that until I read about a 1.0 out to a 1.2 on another Suzuki forum. the guy only posted once in 06 and the reference to his engine was in his avatar. and he went by the name of erosion king
So I was wondering if anyone has enlarged a F10 and what pistons you used? What were the results and was it worth it?
The car was my grandfathers and I am not interested in a non standard engine conversion.

if you want more herbs you can just up the compression and run a better camshaft, good exhaust and bigger carby.
Then it is still standard engine and won't have paper thin walls in teh engine. If you bore out a 1 litre that far then the engine WILL NOT last very long. Unles you over bore it and then put some sleeves in. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
first option much cheaper in the long run
They used the 1 litre in a sc100 sports car. They are popular overseas. Many options for these engines are twin mikunis or dellertos or a quad cab setup of a 1100cc motor bike.
Fuel injection can be added by using either a single point continous spray version (TBI from a late model sierra engine) or some aftermarket multi point injection
Use a 1.3 dizzy ( with the electronic ignition ( slips straight in) More info on that at LJ10.com
So use google and search for SC100, LJ80 mods and the world is your oyster. Heaps to find.
