so joe, to side track a little, a jimny airlocker couldnt be made to work in a non highpinion i.e 1 litre diff?
If ARB's parts catalogue is correct, then no

The parts catalogue for ARB air-lockers lists a Jimny front crown wheel bolt diameter (130mm) and the ID of the crown wheel (108mm) as the same as a RD88 (Sierra rear end). If this is true, a Jimny front diff is not a 1L size at all, but is in fact a high pinion 1.3 size. This makes sense, considering I have heard of people claiming they have modified Jimny front air lockers to work in a coily, and people in this thread have said coily front diffs are simply high pinion 1.3 size.

Would you care to verify?
ok...lets get a few things straight.
the jimny ring gear may be the same ID as a 1.3, and may have the same bolt pattern, but this does not mean its OD and pinion are the same as 1.3, for which they are NOT.
the carrier (cast section) of the jimny IS 1.0 litre size in its diameter and bolt spacing, the 1.3 is much larger and the same as a coily. you can modyfy a sierra front locker as well as a jimny front to suit a coily, but this involves some horrible things to do to an airlocker.
