can any one think of a reason y i cant make a steering shaft with a uni at each end .. keep in mind its goin in a offroad only trailer rig and the reason i need to ditch the rag joint is because it gets in the way s of the series 3 rx7 60mm core alloy radiator that is going in front of the 13b turbo bridge port and i no i need to cut 2 shafts and sleeve em and plug weld em aswell
any input would good thanks

I have got a uni at either end without any problems

kool but u still have the rag joint in there to tho or is that some thing else on the stearing box end ?

Yer conversion was done by a mate. Not sure why he left it in there but the PS has stood up to a years worth of abuse so far and is still going strong.

i had a uni at each end when i done my vit power steering setup??????if that helps,there is pics in my members rigs section

thanks mate i no how im gunna do it and all i just wanted to no if there was any reason not to other than the radiator geting in the way i have used 2 chassies and cut and sht and extended the front 3 inches so i need the extra length as well

Yep I'm running two unis on my stock shaft with my Vit PS box. I had to make up a short splined "adapter" shaft to add the additional uni. I can't for the life of me remember why I had to do that though.....
