hey all,
ever sense i put the 2 inch lift in efs i have noticed that i dnt really have much flex to wat i had when i had tha stocko springs in i run pro comp shocks. Wat would be the easiest and cheapest way to fix this problem. would it be the springs or could my shocks be farked cos i can take my rear shocks out and they seem fine???

Are your shocks long enough and if they are maybe remove a leaf or 2.

yeah prolly remove a leaf - when you open the pack there should be one leaf thats mega arched, usually 1 or 2 up from teh bottom... take that one out as its the load leaf.

downside is you're going to lose that 2" of lift...

i thought the load leaf was the thick flat one on the bottom of the pack???

So did I...it's basically flat and really thick, would make sense if it was the load leaf

The very last one from memory is the one you want to remove... You loose about 1"0-15mm in ride height..

But becomes much nicer to ride in... Well much nicer compared to the current ride

I was told by a good suspension shop that its the leaf just above the load leaf (ie: the leaf second from the bottom) that you want to remove. The load leaf is pretty much flat and doesn't do anything until either you hit a big bump at high speed or load the car up...

sorry my mistake - i just always called the archiest one near the middle of the pack the load leaf.... either way - its the leaf one or two up from the bottom that has the biggest arc in it that you want to take out.

OK cos the very bottom one is out the flat one, and the shocks that are in there are the ones that i had in it when i had the spoa in it.

my shock do seem a lil hard to push down bar how hard is to hard ???

Has it affected the drivability of the zuk , if not leave it alone and get used to driving with the current setup , it will soften up and work better and you will still maintain your lift which is why you put them in the first place , the more bend in the spring , the less travel you will have , flatter springs will travel more as they flex both ways , Cheers Paul.

not really just lifts the wheels off more offen now. i did get them second hand.

just run 3 leaves front and rear.

the top 3. that is all i run.

how old are they? were they quite used ? or fairly new?

used i think and they got the dame zook lean on the drivers side

i got the fronts off of zuki when he did ruf.so i knw they were used not to sure on the rears dont know how much use they got
