hi there...
i have a 94 sierra,
31 inch simex jungle treckers,
2 inch lift,
2 inch body lift,
and about to put an efi 1.6 in it.....
along with the rest!..

im want to reduce the gears,
i mainly drive in thick mud, and steep hill climbs....
along with a bit of beach!

firstly, i want to know?
will i loose top speed?
i would like to gain....
along with have 1st gear even as low as low 1....
or close to it...

so my real question i spose... is what do i want?? and where do i get it??

Check out lockedup 4x4 on the net. U need a set of 6.5's and a roktoy ring or a mighty kong transfer cradle to combat the extra load/forces of reduction gears...

I concur.

Locktup have a deal at the moment where if you buy their 6.5 gears, they will do a rebuild kit for %50 off RRP.

does a mighty kong help with strength of the case? I sort of remember reading that it doesn't help strengthen just protect... or am I imaging things?

It sorta does help strengthen it, by preventing it being twisted.
