Hey,
My 1.3 is now becoming a smoke machine on most 4by outings, so im looking at getting a 1.6 vit motor. Any body had any experience with any motor importers? any recomendations? Any in perth with vit motors?

not sure if he's on here - but OL user nicbeer bought a vitara front cut to do his conversion.

Failling that - suzistore do a drive in drive out deal - its not cheap but pretty much everythings brand new, engine is reco'd and they only buy low km engines. Still, a 1600 EFI straight swap from 1300 i think is about $6000 or so. (dont forget thats drive in, drive out so includes all labour, adaptors and parts including ECU and wiring etc).

Thanks cairnszook, will check some of those out. Alien, this is my 2nd car so its very much diy, A mate will do all the wiring and ill do the mechanical so i just need motor, adapter, fuel pump etc. Ill check suzistore and see how much a 1.6 from them is. I think Nic got his from brisbane auto? They have them listed at $1450? so maybe about $2000 in perth
