Was curious about the ability of flipping a sierra standard rim. I worked out that you can do it, it gives you 44mm extra on maximum offset, and looks pretty stock-ish. and looks tough on WT diffs and no flairs. I spent a while truing it (within 2mm), but decided that ill take it to a shop to get it 100% trued.

why not drill a hole on the outside and fit a new valve?
nothing says you cant have two.

i got a old set of 7" sunnys flipped for my lux years back.they welded up the valve hole and drilled a new one one the outside now.Works a treat

thanks joe, and atari ill be pluging the air hole on the inside and drilling a new one. 86slowsierra, one of them would leak for sure... mika yes i did mount it but i didn't get a chance to take a photo of it.

appsie, im not sure if this is dodge, but i stuck the rim on the rear of my lwb and clamped a cold chisle to it and spun till there was about 2mm difference then couldn't get it the last little bit. I think thats as accurate as im going to get it without a jig. Fatzook has a pm...

Car 726 has run those rims reversed for years, his are powdercoated silver, they look great.

yeah i was going a pressure pack silver or champagne if i can...

luke, all you need to do to get them apart, is very very carefully grind the welds out then i just hit it with a lump of wood and a 4lb hammer till it pressed out.... not allot else to it...

Looks great BTW ... now just need a nice skinny 31" tyre that'll fit it without rolling off the bead constantly. What are you thinking about fitting to it?
