can any one tell me if the distribitor housing from the F8A motor is interchangable with the F10A motor.

They are interchangeable, and so are the dizzys. Looking at the engine from the clutch side, the F8A lays the dizzy over at 9 O'Clock, while the F10A Sierra has the dizzy in the 2 O'Clock position. To put an F10A into and LJ80, use the LJ80 Dizzy housing. You can use either the LJ or Sierra Dizzy, or you can even replace them with the dizzy from a 1.3 which doesn't have points but uses an electronic ignition. All 3 use the same dizzy cap.

thats great thanks for that, i have a lj81 that someone upgraded to the one lt motor, and beat the shit out of the bonnet with hammer, to make anough room for the dissy.
