Hi all, ive got a 2003 auto 2.5 grand vitara and im wanting to fit a front lokka, ive checked and its already got a steel front diff, so can anyone tell me if this can be done and what i need??????

Free wheeling hubs and i would think the hemisphere from a vit diff

the part the crownwheel bolts to, if you were getting an airlocker you wouldnt need this but the brand 'lokka' fits inside this and the gv one is different

sorry i had a mental blank, so ive got a 1991 vitara complete front diff with an alloy carrier in the shed, so can i take the hemisphere out of that and fit the lokka and my crown wheel and bolt it in?

more or less, youll need to make sure you have 26 splines couplings to fit your driveshafts and the drivers CV wont fit properly anymore but it will sort of work

or get onto Joeblow here and get a factory modded airlocker that will work with a gv :)

The position of teh clip that holds the driveshaft in is different on a gv to a vit so it can slide in and out by about 5mm, people dont seem to have too much drama with it
