I wouldn't mind stripping out the insides and laying down a coat of tray liner, truck bed liner or whatever it's called along the entire floorpan of my beach runner hardtop. The interior is due for a touch up anyway, I think some type of liner would be money well spent, and requires no more prep than the task already at hand.
Line X and
Rhinoliner seem to be the most popular solutions I can find, but are expensive and require authorized third party installation/application for safety and warranty purposes. DIY is the name of the game, so something like
Herculiner or
Monstaliner would be my preferred option at this stage. There's quite a few more products that do the same job also, but you gotta scour the web.
Monstaliner is the exact stuff I want - not quite as rubbery as Herculiner, more like a hard plastic coating, but I can't find any Australian importers - so that option might have to be scratched unless anyone can point me in the right direction.
Has anyone else used this stuff before (any of them), or applied it DIY style like i'm planning to do? Just wondering what results you got, how it's wearing, colour stability, etc...
